New term, new spirit! ;)
Hi guys... It's been extremely looong time since I updated my blog for the last time. Many things kept me busy these days. Lots of things to do, lots of fun will come! ;) Yeah, on the weekend after finals basicly I just hanged out with Ryan, Laura, Jo & Brian as usual. With other additional people sometimes... Watching movies, eithe rin Jo's house or movie theatre. For full info, I'm just gonna copy from Ryan's blog. Don't worry, I'll give u da copyright! :P Here's the weekend after final:
On Thursday, 'round 4PM, we went to Joakim's place to watch some movies. Let's see, we watched Fargo, Jumping Up (errr, Falling Down rather...hehe), and part of some Al Pacino movie. We didn't get to finish it 'cause of the evil thing known as curfew! Btw, I got a pic that night: Me, Chad & Jo
On Friday, I & Ryan went to Stir Crazy for lunch. That place is awesome, thanks to Laura for giving me the gift card! Then we stopped by Best Buy, Microcenter, and some other places. You know, just some time to chill. Then, we met the others at dinner (Baker's Square). I had some sort of certificate for a free pie so we ended up with a brownie pie. Hm, can somebody explain this to me? The concept of a big piece of brownie a 'round shape of a pie, but it is inherently just a brownie, not a pie, right? Just teasing, guys. It still tasted good. Eventually we ended up at Yorktown for a movie. We intended to see Butterfly Effect, but they tried to card. Phew, since some of us are not 17 yet, so we ended up seeing Mona Lisa's Smile. Afterward, we returned to finish the movie from the previous night, but we still didn't ' finish cause it is super long... I got more pics:
So, that's Brian & Jo. Isn't Jo so cute? I'm sure he'll get lots of things this Val's day from his secret admirers :P
On Saturday, I went to a meeting for Florida Spring Tour for exchange students. Can't wait for that! It should be really fun ;) Then, got to bowling alley with Brian for Butler's party and somehow I saw a car in parking lot which I was sure that's Ryan's! He said that he couldn't come. So, we thought maybe that's someone else's car. But then, we saw Ryan got out of the building with a girl, while I was with Brian. Hmm, is there a "ditching phenomenon" between us? :P Huahaha, that's just so funny :D Don't worry guys, we're OK... Well, on our way back to Jo's house (again?!!), Brian threw out! He was driving, so we stopped in an empty parking lot, helped him cleaning his car in cold icy evening. Fortunately, there were Laura & Jo, too at that time. Then, he decided to go home instead of watching movie and we waited for Ryan to take us home. He had fun dinner with his Spanish teacher that evening. (That's so wrong! :P). Yeah, watched There's Something 'Bout Mary -Harry's fave movie- *I miss u!* and had that Build Me Up song stuck in my head for a week or so...
Poor Brian, he was absent for 3 days last week. We still made the car project for physics, though. And we proved that balloon's da best force for self-powered car! :P Yeah, new term is fun, some new classes. Let's see, the flash class - give me time for designing, PE - I'm so bad in volleyball! Let's change to another sport, please :P English: expos writing - not too bad, with d fact that Ryan's in this class, too, Intro to Java - fun people in this class! And Mr. Kick's still amazed with the fact that I'm from the island of Java :P Psychology's not bad, although I think that's a mistake that I take this class. I'm not a social study person - so bad in memorizing text book, but good in memorizing people's schedule ;) Oh yeah, I also taught some Indonesian stuffs, games & food to a girl scout group on Friday. It's pretty fun!
Last weekend, we made scones (kind of bread) in Jo's house! Not too bad, seeing those guys cooking :D And also fried Oreos! Last, of course movies again. Good times :) Then, woke up early on Saturday morning for AFS orientation camp. Always nice to see other exchange students from different countries... can't believe that I'll go home soon :( On Sunday, of course Superbowl Party! But our party (with drama people) was "Superbowl Party for people who don't watch football". Yeah, we played poker, Risk & some other games, not necessarily paying attention to d football game :P But of course that Janet thing is crazy! Met some new people there, who I always meet in the hallways these days. That's good...
And starting from this week, I'll be really busy for Indonesian AFS newsletter, drama publicity co-head crew, more homework, and... what else? Well, that's why I almost never have time to post my blog or chatting. Now I just use internet for e-mail! Not even time in classes, coz I'd enter another world once I start to design/program. Just think that I'm gonna have more stuffs to do this term. I don't wanna waste my time here, which is getting shorter... Try to do more things, make more & closer friends, and of course... HAVE FUN! :)
