Too many stuffs to do???

Hohoho... It's been super long since my last entry! Yeah people, school kept me really busy since beginning of February, and also the AFS newsletters. So, yeah... more papers in English, projects & tests for psych, homework for US history (haha, that crazy "fun" class?), and physics, with crazy electricity chain experiment for our class (disetrum!-red). I dunno, it's just like... I don't have time for myself anymore during weekdays.

OK, 2 weekends ago, I went to the girl scouts meeting in elementary school, whose kids I taught some Indonesian stuffs & Balonku song! That's fun, and what surprised me was when they gave me a small batik backpack which they made by their selves! On the next day(Sat), I picked Meza up in Joliet (30 min. from here). Yup, Meza came here from Massachusetts! She's also an exchange student, and we went to the same high school in Jakarta (Yeah, SMUNDEL! :P). So, we went to downtown Chicago, together with Alvien & Dedi. We went to Navy Pier, then watched 50 First Dates. Really sweet movie! I should watch it with Ryan ^^; Then, Meza slept over in my house. I can't believe we can meet each other!

Last weekend, I & Ryan went to Borders to browse some books. Ryan got his SAT prep book (I bet it's a super fun book! :P) and I got "Ella Enchanted". Yep, some people recommended it to me, since I have the same name with the character. Not yet finished reading it, though. After that, improv night. But not fun as usual :( Instead of fun games, it's more for building character this time, preparing for Comedy Sportz audition. Actually I used to plan for try out, but someone told me I can't coz I'm in water polo. That makes sense, I'm already confused now with doing drama crew & water polo in the same time. Still in the same night, I went to Rebecca's bday party. Another fun group, followed with "girl talk" till 2 am or so. That made me understand their feelings, that I didn't know before. :) What a long night! On Sat, I did drama crew then went to Andrea's house for "Female Dominance Day" T-shirt. Haha, fun to show it to the boys! Next, watched the Passion... hmm, just wanna know about that thing. On Sunday, we watched the Oscar at the Halls', with the girls wearing that T-shirt we made the day before: When is female dominance day? EVERY DAY! Hehehe... Long weekend, but I missed Ryan, Jo, Brian & Laura. Although I went to movie with Brian & Laura, it's not like a weekend without them ;)

Bored enough? This weekend, I had The Musical rehearsal on Friday, which was mandatory for all running crew. Actually, I still can go somewhere after that if I want, but morning water polo practice, which just started last week, took a lot of my sleeping time. So, yeah... just got home and had dinner at Chipotle with my family. Nice Mexican food! Yesterday, more water polo practice & drama crew... then watched Hidalgo at night. Good movie with Arabian setting. And today... just finishing up some newsletter things. Huhuhu, I need more motivations in doing this. Someone e-mails me personally , please! Huehehe... thanx for those of u who had sent me e-mails for that, personal or not :)

Hi, I'm eLLa. I'm just an ordinary Indonesian high school student. But I'm lucky to get a chance to spend one year as exchange student in Hinsdale, suburb in the west of Chicago, USA. So, here I am... And this is my blog about my life here. Don't be surprised - in many things, Indonesia & USA are really different. Also check out my latest pics at http://photos.yahoo.com/soto_betawi. Still wanna know more about me? Just send e-mail to soto_betawi@yahoo.com. I also use Yahoo!Messenger (soto_betawi) & AIM (lalapsambel)

I love my family & friends, they always support me. In Indonesia, I live with my mom & my sister, Ditta. She's 13 years old now. In USA, I live with my mom, dad & my brother, Milo. Actually I have 2 other brothers, John & Parker, but they go to college & don't live with the family.
My friends are important parts of my life, too. I always miss my friends in SMUN 8 Jakarta-my school, especially 2i & TX (doesn't mean I don't miss the others. I luv u all! :) and other AFS exchange students from all over Indonesia. Anyway, I have fun making friends here. I'm really close with the girls in swim team. They always have fun things to do. And also my friends in International Club, Computer Club, Drama Club, Amnesty International & Scholastic Bowl. Well, I enjoy hanging out with them, making more friends & learning more things :)
