Recent Activities???!
Hi, all!
OMG, it's the longest time I was absent from writing my blog! Blah, lots of thing, too many indeed, let's see... *seeing d photo album* Ethnic Fair, Prom, Chicago Botanic Garden (Mother's Day!), Comedy Sports Play, 24 Hour Relay, EVIL Physics Project, Aaditi & Peter's party, water polo & drama banquets, and... our 6 months anniversary! Hehehe... ;)
OK, I'm just gonna write recent things. About the old ones? I'll write them in separate entries, according to their dates. How's that? Now, let's start from last weekend! Friday night, went to those skit performances, quite fun & I met many kids from Central, and just cool off in Jo's house for tea. Yeah, tea is good, hot and cold ;) Ryan left on Sat morning to his cousin's grad 4 d rest of d weekend, but that's OK. Got invitation from Aaditi for seniors only, though. I love that dessert, it's soooo gooooeeeeyy.. but chocolaty! :P Sunday afternoon, perfect day for water polo banquet! Casual barbeque in Baylie's backyard, with Kate & Shannon having hamburgers without the buns. I hope they're not in a low-carb diet :D Then, kidnapping Peter for his bday. Fun, fun... Phew, what an unhealthy weekend! Lots of Aaditi's American food, barbeque chicken w/ lots of sauce, ice cream & cakes, and pizza. Hah, whatever... just keep working out ;)
Last week, I had a super nice dinner with Ryan, for our 6 months anniversary :D Thanx sooo much, that scallop was amazing! Chan rak khun ^^; Then, drama banquet... After thinking and fitting for about 30 minutes, finally I wore my kebaya, an Indonesian ethnic costume, to drama banquet! Yeah, I was thinking about my prom or homecoming dress but... nah, just wear something different. I also think about wearing batik for graduation ;) So, drama banquet was sooo funny! I love u, Christine & Crystal! Yeah, it's so sad that we, senior, will leave soon... but for me it's a lot harder... I'm kinda... mixed.... yeah, I miss u all my Indonesian friends, but I also don't wanna leave u Americans & exchange students, here! So it goes... Other things during weekdays? Just trying to read & finish Harry Potter 5 b4 I leave. I just tried to continue reading it. I read soo slowly b4, but now I just noticed that I can read it as fast as in Indonesian! Not too fast, though. I'm a slow reader, in any language :(
This weekend? Watched another movie (Man on Fire), pretty good, but still couldn't keep me awake for 2.5 hours at 11.30pm :P Also had dinner in Italian restaurant. Yay, I love pasta! But d big dinner was yesterday, in The Kamath's house, lots of Indian food! Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Yoghurt sauce, yummy! I could hardly walk after that, crazy! And, I'm going to watch Troy tonight, a bit late but that's OK... BTW, Parker & Kolb, his roommate is here, spicing up our house :P So it goes... I'm gonna prepare for movies now, bye!
